Sen. Luetkemeyer Congratulates Lynn Parman for Missouri State Board Appointment

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Tony Luetkemeyer, R-Parkville, congratulates Lynn Parman on her appointment to the Missouri State University Board of Governors. Senator Luetkemeyer sponsored Parman before the Senate Gubernatorial Appointments Committee and applauds her confirmation by the full Senate this week.

“Lynn Parman is a proud alum of Missouri State University and a woman of remarkable accomplishment,” Sen. Luetkemeyer said. “The governor made a terrific selection appointing her to the university board and I look forward to seeing all she can do in this capacity.”

Parman is the chief operating officer of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, the governing body overseeing athletic programs at more than 250 mid-sized and small universities across the United States. Previously, she was the first female president and CEO of the American Royal, which brings championship pro rodeo and world-class barbeque competition to the Kansas City area.
