JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews Senate Bill 826, a new law that modifies provisions relating to health care. The new law took effect when it was signed into law on July 9, because of an emergency clause contained in the legislation.

JEFFERSON CITY — Lawmakers returned to the State Capitol for the First Extra Session of the First Regular Session of the 100th General Assembly. In addition, lawmakers also gaveled in for the annual Veto Session.
