Sen. Eric Burlison Appointed Vice-Chairman of the Professional Registration Committee

JEFFERSON CITY – State Sen. Eric Burlison, R-Battlefield, has been appointed as the vice-chairman of the Professional Registration Committee in the Missouri Senate. As a former member of the Missouri House of Representatives, Sen. Burlison was the chairman of the Committee on Professional Registration and Licensing.

“During my tenure as the House chairman, I worked to solve many of the problems our licensing climate presented to Missourians who simply wanted to earn a living and provide for their families,” Sen. Burlison said. “I am honored and excited to continue working towards this goal as vice-chairman of the Senate committee.”

The Professional Registration Committee considers and reports on bills and matters relating to the reorganization, establishment, consolidation or abolition of departments, boards, bureaus and commissions of state government, the internal operation of any state agency and the effect of federal legislation upon any state agency.
