***MEDIA ADVISORY*** Senator Bob Dixon Presents Silent Hero Award Jefferson City – State Sen. Bob Dixon, R-Springfield, will be presenting the Silent Hero Award to Miles Yocom, an employee of The Waterford at Ironbridge, a senior living facility in Springfield, Missouri. The Silent Hero Award is presented to individuals who serve in their communities, volunteer their time and contribute to the betterment of society, often without public recognition. Miles Yocom is an excellent example of a silent hero in the Springfield community. Miles Yocom is a transportation specialist at The Waterford at Ironbridge and is known for his professionalism, positive attitude, diligent care of residents and his love of bluegrass music and photography.
