JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, discusses gubernatorial appointments; Senate Bill 612, which would establish the Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts Program, and was heard in the Missouri Senate Government Reform Committee this week; and Senate Bill 564, a measure that seeks to modify provisions relating to public utilities. This measure, which Sen. Emery sponsors, has been given committee approval and could be discussed on the Missouri Senate floor at any time.
