This Week in the Missouri Senate for June 23: SBs 108 and 279 and Extra Session Update

Jefferson City — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews:

  • Senate Bill 108 will grant re-employment rights to members of the military (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Gary Romine, R-Farmington); and
  • Senate Bill 279 will add certain forms to the list of documents sufficient to demonstrate eligibility for a veteran designation on an applicant’s driver’s license or non-driver identification card (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Will Kraus, R-Lee’s Summit). Both measures were signed on June 14 and will become law on Aug. 28; plus
  • The Second Extraordinary Session of the 99th General Assembly, which is now in its second week (Audio: Sen. Jill Schupp, D-Creve Coeur).
