This Week in the Missouri Senate for July 7: SB 160, SB 376 and Extra Session

Jefferson City — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews:

  • Senate Bill 160, legislation that will modify provisions relating to child protection (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. David Sater, R-Cassville, and Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal, D-University City);
  • Senate Bill 376, a measure that will designate “Old Drum” as the historical dog of the state of Missouri and “Jim the Wonder Dog” as Missouri’s wonder dog (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Denny Hoskins, D-Warrensburg). Both of these measures will take effect on Aug. 28; and
  • An update on the Second Extraordinary Session of the 99th General Assembly.
