JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews:
- Senate Bill 434, legislation that seeks to allow school districts to allocate less than 1 percent, but no less than .5 percent, of money received under the school foundation formula to the professional development committee of the district when certain requirements are met (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. - Senate Bill 41, a measure that would provide protection for alternatives-to-abortion agencies;
- Senate Bill 67, which would modify provisions of law relating to abortion, including donation of fetal tissue, tissue reports, abortion reports, employee disclosure policies and abortion facility inspections (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Bob Onder, R-Lake St. Louis, and Sen. John Rizzo, D-Kansas City);
- Senate Bill 220, legislation that would provide that a person who is injured by a product has 10 years after the sale or lease of the product to bring a suit for damages (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Jeanie Riddle, R-Callaway County); and
- Senate Bill 373, a measure that seeks to establish the Missouri Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (Audio: Bill sponsor, Sen. Shalonn “Kiki” Curls, D-Kansas City).
