JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The following is a statement from State Senator Jamilah Nasheed on the Missouri State Board of Education to return full accreditation to St. Louis Public Schools.
“Good schools lead to good jobs for graduates and their community,” said Senator Nasheed. “The full accreditation of St. Louis Public Schools is a testament to the hard work, determination and significant improvements put forward by local leaders. More importantly, it is a key that will help unlock the doors of opportunity for area students and their families.
“This is a day to celebrate, and I am proud to continue my support of St. Louis Public Schools in the Missouri State Senate.”
