JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Ed Emery, R-Lamar, discusses Senate Bill 31, legislation that seeks to make changes to Missouri’s collateral source rule. His proposal has been given Missouri Senate approval. He also talks about Senate Bill 16, which would exempt delivery charges from sales and use taxes. This measure has been given preliminary approval in the Missouri Senate. Senator Emery also discusses the governor’s budget recommendations for Fiscal Year 2018, which were released today.
