The Senate Minute for May 10: SB 814 and HB 1474

JEFFERSON CITY — The final week of the Second Regular Session of the 98th General Assembly is underway. Missouri senators have sent Senate Bill 814, which would allow an individual to deduct income earned through active military duty from their Missouri adjusted gross income, to the governor. House Bill 1474 would make changes to how certain documents would be filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission. It has been amended and sent back to the Missouri House of Representatives. We’ve included actualities from Sen. Wayne Wallingford, R-Cape Girardeau, and Sen. Shalonn “Kiki” Curls, D-Kansas City, in this feature report narrated by Senate Communications Officer Dean Morgan.
