Study Commission on State Tax Policy to Hold Public Forum

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Will Kraus, R-Lee’s Summit, wishes to announce that the Study Commission on State Tax Policy will hold a public forum event on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the Wainwright State Office Building in downtown St. Louis. Members of the public are invited to attend and provide testimony regarding the current state of Missouri’s tax policy. The Study Commission was established by House Bill 384 in 2015.

About the public forum event, Commission Chairman Randy Hilger stated, “This is an opportunity for taxpayers, tax practitioners and other stakeholders to provide input regarding Missouri’s tax policies, statutes and regulations, and administrative practices and procedures.”

A public forum event is also scheduled for Nov. 15 in Kansas City.
