SB 640 - This act waives sovereign immunity for the Division of Family Services and the Division of Aging. Liability would still be capped pursuant to the limits of Section 537.610, RSMo. The waiver includes all negligent acts of care, treatment or statutorily required services. This negligence extends to selection, inspection, supervision or control over independent contractors.
This act is similar to SB 598.
