Statement from Senator Bill Eigel on Committee Assignments

JEFFERSON CITY — State Sen. Bill Eigel, R-Weldon Spring, announced the following statement:

“Last week, I was honored to be appointed by the President Pro Tem of the Senate to the Select Committee on the Protection of Missouri Assets from Foreign Adversaries. I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues on the committee to find the best path forward to expeditiously end foreign ownership of land in this state and protect the national interests of our country. To better accommodate my schedule and the important work of this new committee, I requested, and the Pro Tem granted, that I be taken off the Senate Standing Committee on Commerce, Consumer Protection, Energy and the Environment. ”
