HB 979 - This act modifies the membership requirements to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Public School Retirement System of St. Louis. Currently, members of the Board of Trustees must be members of the Board of Education. This act provides that members of the Board of Trustees for the System may be members of the Board of Education, or other individuals deemed qualified to hold such positions by the Board of Education.
