SCS/HB 775 - This act exempts constitutional charter cities from statutory procedures regarding special tax assessments for sidewalk repair and construction, sewers and certain road work all allows them to issue such assessments as provided for in their own charters or ordinances. Currently, constitutional charter cities must follow the same guidelines as third and fourth class cities in issuing special assessments for these improvements.

This act is similar to SB 454 and CCS/HS/HCS/SB 20.
