HB 708 - Under this act, ownership of agricultural land by individual aliens and foreign businesses acquired prior to 1978 may continue by the owner or direct descendants by means of trusts, partnerships or corporate ownerships.

In 1978, legislation was adopted that prohibited individual aliens and foreign businesses from owning agricultural land in Missouri. Land then held by aliens or foreign business was not affected.
