HB 662 - This act increases the monthly amount for medical insurance premiums for retired sheriffs covered by Sections 57.949 to 57.997, RSMo, from an amount not to exceed $300 to an amount not to exceed $450.

The annual increase in the amount of benefits received by each member may equal the increase in the Consumer Price Index but may not exceed five percent. This is a change from the existing provision which set the increase in benefits based on the CPI and the total benefit of a member could not exceed fifty percent of the initial benefit which the member received upon retirement.

This act is identical to SB 213.
