HCS/HB 621 - This act allows any child meeting the age requirements for entering kindergarten (age 5 years by the first of August) to also attend the prior summer school session and be counted for state aid purposes. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education shall not use the offering of or failure to offer summer school prior to kindergarten as an element of the standards of the Missouri School Improvement Program used for accreditation of school districts.

This act is similar to SB 236 and SS#2/HCS/HB 889.
