SCS/HCS/HBs 430 & 648 - This act creates the Missouri Settlement Trust Fund. The State Treasurer shall deposit into the Fund the proceeds of any award or settlement. The moneys shall not be appropriated without specific statutory authority specifying the purpose. The interest from the Fund shall not revert into general revenue. Nothing in the act shall be construed as evidence that the funds are or are not total state revenue. The Commissioner of Administration shall maintain electronic data on receipts to the Fund, updated quarterly, and the information shall be available on the Internet.

The act is similar to SB 288.
