HB 415 - This act is the "Selective Service Registration Awareness Compliance Act".

Any person who is required to register with the selective service system under the provisions of the United States Military Selective Act, 50 U.S.C. App. 451, et seq shall not:

(1) Be offered employment with the state of Missouri without proof of such registration; or

(2) Be eligible for state-supported scholarships, programs for financial assistance for post-secondary education or loans insured by any state agency without proof of such registration.

The act also requires any official having charge of and authority over the hiring of employees or the granting of educational assistance to adopt procedures to implement this act.
