HB 328 - This act requires that when a defendant is acquitted by reason of mental disease or defect, the verdict and judgment shall state the offense as well as the verdict. The court clerk shall furnish a copy of the judgment or order of commitment to the Department of Mental Health and to the criminal records central repository.
