HB 0136 (Truly Agreed) | Emancipated minors may make wills |
HB 136 - This act allows any minor emancipated by adjudication, marriage, or entry into active military duty to make a will or donate his or her body to various institutions. Under current law, only persons of sound mind, 18 years of age or older, may do so.
This portion of the act is identical to SB 271 (TAT).
The act also makes technical changes to the Servicemen's
Readjustment Act, and requires that juvenile court procedures be
consistent with constitutional and statutory requirements.
