HB 103 - This act changes the civil procedure applicable to property nuisance actions. Current law states that within Kansas City, St. Louis City and St. Louis County, nuisance actions can only be brought in small claims court and limits damages to those occurring to the plaintiff's property that is within the jurisdiction. This act deletes both of those requirements, allowing for a nuisance suit to be filed in circuit court and damages to be collected on the entire property.
