SCS/HB 1704 - This act amends the procedures by which the University of Missouri may sell or convey natural resources within its possession. Current practice requires public bids and notice of the transaction to several state officials. The change would allow the institution's curators to convey such natural resources if the curators comply with procedures established by rule for bidding and advertising notice to prospective buyers. The rules would be patterned after procedures employed by the Conservation Commission to engage in similar activity.
