HB 1622 - Under current law incorporation of a public water supply district must be approved by two-thirds of the voters in the proposed district.

If those persons who wish to form a public water supply district specify in the petition that the district shall be organized without authority to issue general obligation bonds, the voter approval need only be a simple majority.
