HB 1609 - This act establishes new salary schedules for members of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The new schedules will run until June 30, 2000.

The proposed increases cover Turnkeys, Police Officers, Sergeants, Lieutenants, Captains, Majors, Lt. Colonels, Assistant Chief and Chief.

The act also changes provisions covering extra training and provisions related to lead officer responsibilities and salary increases for certain responsibilities.
