SCS/HS/HCS/HB 1412 - The Small Employer Insurance Advisory Committee is created to consider the development of a health care plan to assist small employers and their employees and dependents. The Committee will have 10 members and include representatives from the Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan (MCHCP)(1), the General Assembly (4), small employers (2), and insurers (3).

The Advisory Committee may develop a plan and shall hold hearings on a number of issues: compensation to associations, insurance agents and brokers; bidding and information for bidders. MCHCP shall commission an actuarial study of the plan developed by the Advisory Committee. The Committee shall report its plan and recommendations to the General Assembly by February 1, 1999.
