HS/HCS/HB 1198 - This act make several changes for the licensing of insurance agents and brokers. An insurance company may designate a licensed agency with all of its listed agents as an alternative to appointing each agent individually. Adjusters need not be licensed in this state if working on behalf of a workers' compensation insurer. The Director of Insurance may change licensing dates so that they coincide. The examination for broker shall be waived for licensed agents with 5 years of experience in at least two lines of insurance.
