HB 1113 - This bill allows the governing bodies of Schuyler, Knox, Scotland, and Carter counties to impose a tax not to exceed 25 cents per acre on agricultural and horticultural property in their respective counties. The money is to be used for the sole purpose of purchasing rock to be placed on county roads within the boundaries of the county. A special fund is established to be known as the "Special Road Rock Fund" for the deposit of the tax. The tax would only become effective upon voter approval.
