HB 1046 - This act would allow homeless veterans to have free criminal background checks for gaining employment, housing or other services or benefits. This act also would deem a provider to have fulfilled an employee criminal background check by making a criminal records inquiry with the highway patrol. Further inquiry under common law requirements of due diligence is still required.
