SB 299 - The act increases the per diem paid to legislators when they are in Jefferson City to 80% of the per diem the federal government has authorized when its employees are in Jefferson City. The amount paid under current law is $35. This act increases the per diem to $69.
The per diem paid to judges attending judicial conferences
would be increased to 80% of the amount of the federal per diem
for the city where the conference is held.
