SB 889 - This act establishes a rebuttable presumption that any condition or impairment of health caused by cancer, in addition to any disease of the lungs or respiratory tract, hypertension or disease of the heart, which results in the death or disability of a uniformed member of a paid fire department, shall be presumed to have been suffered in the line of duty, if certain medical requirements are met.

This act is similar to SB 255 (1993).
