SB 748 - This act specifically provides that a manufacturer or wholesaler may supply dialysis devices or drugs necessary to perform home dialysis to a person with chronic kidney failure without being charged with the practice of pharmacy without a license if: (1) the manufacturer or wholesaler is registered with the State Board of Pharmacy and lawfully holds the drugs or devices; and (2) the manufacturer or wholesaler delivers the drugs or devices to a person with chronic kidney failure for self-administration or delivers the drugs or devices to a physician for administration.
The State Board of Pharmacy shall promulgate rules and
regulations.
