SB 671 - This act authorizes the issuance of tax anticipation notes by the board of a levee or drainage district in a county which was declared a disaster area during 1993 or 1995. Currently, tax anticipation notes may only be issued in counties which were declared a disaster area in July, August or September of 1993.
Authority to issue these tax anticipation notes expires January 1, 1998.
This act has an emergency clause.
