SB 562 - This act requires the school board of each school district to establish and maintain a parent-teacher advisory committee which shall develop guidelines on pupil discipline. The school board shall require that each school in the district inform all pupils in the school of the discipline policy at the beginning of each school year.

The advisory committee shall consult with area law enforcement agencies and develop a proposal for reporting criminal acts on school grounds. The district policy on discipline shall provide for reporting of criminal acts on school grounds.
