SB 1142 - Beginning July 1, 2023, this act requires a public school or charter school with pupils in grades seven to twelve, as well as a public institution of higher education, that issues pupil identification cards to print certain suicide prevention phone and text numbers on such cards. This act is similar to provisions in HB 2136 (2022) and HB 2238 (2022). JAMIE ANDREWS
