SB 837 - Under current law, a prosecution for certain sexual offenses may be commenced at any time. This act adds the offenses of sexual abuse in the first degree, attempted sexual abuse in the first degree, sexual abuse in the second degree, attempted sexual abuse in the second degree, incest, and attempted incest to those offenses which may be commenced at any time. This act is substantially similar to provisions in SCS/HB 2088, et al (2022) and SS/SCS/SB 631 (2022) and identical to SB 425 (2021). MARY GRACE PRINGLE
