HCS/HBs 1083, 1085, 1030, 1035, 1036, 873 & 1097 - This act requires the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to waive the repayment of any employment security benefits that were incorrectly but nonfraudulently distributed to claimants if such benefits were provided from the federal government under the federal CARES Act, or any subsequent federal relief program related to the Coronavirus designed to provide employment security relief, and the federal government has granted authority to the state to waive the recovery of such benefits.
