SJR 29 - Under current law, any constitutional amendment proposed by initiative petition takes effect when approved by a majority of the votes cast thereon. This constitutional amendment, if approved by the voters, requires any constitutional amendment proposed by initiative petition to be approved by a majority of the votes cast thereon in each state House of Representatives district prior to taking effect.
