SB 515 - Under current law, licensed educators may complete up to two hours of training or professional development in youth suicide awareness and prevention to meet part of the professional development requirements for certification. Under this act, beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, such training or professional development shall contain at least one unit relating to stress management strategies for students and faculty members.
