JEFFERSON CITY — Missouri’s next fiscal year will start on Monday. Fiscal Year 2020, by law, will start on July 1. Next year’s budget will total $29.7 billion.

JEFFERSON CITY — Lawmakers returned to the State Capitol for the First Extra Session of the First Regular Session of the 100th General Assembly. In addition, lawmakers also gaveled in for the annual Veto Session.
