JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews House Bill 1350, a new law that modifies provisions relating to criminal history records, including criminal record reviews and background checks for in-home service providers and child care providers. The new law took effect on Aug. 28.

JEFFERSON CITY — Lawmakers returned to the State Capitol for the First Extra Session of the First Regular Session of the 100th General Assembly. In addition, lawmakers also gaveled in for the annual Veto Session.
