JEFFERSON CITY — The Missouri Senate kicked off its 2018 legislative session Wednesday, Jan. 3. Newly elected Sen. Mike Cierpiot was sworn into office by the chief justice of the Missouri Supreme Court.

JEFFERSON CITY — Lawmakers returned to the State Capitol for the First Extra Session of the First Regular Session of the 100th General Assembly. In addition, lawmakers also gaveled in for the annual Veto Session.
