JEFFERSON CITY — This Week in the Missouri Senate reviews Senate Bill 656, a measure that seeks to modify provisions relating to county sheriffs, self-defense, unlawful use of weapons and concealed carry permits. The proposal was vetoed by the executive branch on June 27. The annual veto session is set for Sept. 14. We’ve included actualities from bill sponsor, Sen. Brian Munzlinger, R-Williamstown; Sen.
