SCS/SB 163 – This act modifies the composition of the Coordinating Board for Higher Education, the Board of Curators for the University of Missouri and the governing board of Missouri State University. For each board, current law provides that no more than one person will be appointed from each congressional district. This act provides that at least one but no more than two persons will be appointed from each congressional district. This act is identical to HCS/HB 174 (2011) and is similar to SB 255 (2009).
