SB 378 - This act extends the sunset date for the commission to enter into design-build project contracts. Under current law, the commission's authority to enter into design-build projects expires on July 1, 2012. This act extends the date to July 1, 2018. This act repeals the Highways and Transportation Commission's current authority to enter into specific design-build contracts. STEPHEN WITTE
