SB 179 - This act allows the board of aldermen in a fourth-class city to enact an ordinance so that the city marshal shall be appointed. The city marshal is an elected office under current law. The ordinance also may provide that the same person can hold the offices of city marshal and collector at the same time. MEGHAN LUECKE
