SB 171 - This act allows circuit courts to use private probation services to supervise individuals who have committed a Class C or Class D felony at the discretion of the sentencing court. Currently, private entities can only be used to supervise individuals who are on probation for misdemeanor offenses. This act is similar to SB 731 (2010). MEGHAN LUECKE
