SB 856 - Currently, persons who have committed two or more Class A or B misdemeanors under specific chapters of the criminal code can be sentenced to extended terms of imprisonment as "persistent misdemeanor offenders". This act adds class A or B misdemeanors under Chapter 455, Abuse and Protective Orders, and Chapter 577, Public Safety Offenses, to the list of qualifying offenses. SUSAN HENDERSON MOORE
